Hello again World!
It's been about two years since I first released this website. At the time, it wasn't much more than a single webpage with some personal information. A lot has changed since then: I moved countries, switched jobs and, in the mean time, gave a bit more thought about what a personal website means to me. I still feel it is a very useful tool, so rather than scrapping it I have decided to take a step back and reorganise.
One decision I've made is to replace the Tufte style sheet that I had before with something I made myself; this is my website, so I want to maintain some control over the layout and presentation of the content. In a way, I want the presentation to be as little intrusive as possible; I want to focus on the content of my writing. The presentation is difficult to adjust to everyone's tastes, so for now I will outsource that responsibility to the people who actually read what I put up here. That means that, for now, things will look less polished than they could, but I'm sure that, over time, I will come up with something nice.
Speaking of content, during the past year I have picked up a number of personal projects that I feel I could write about. A number of these projects are about to bear some fruit, so be on the lookout for new posts.
